    Thanks Cary

This boat was a hold over 03 that I picked up in 04. All that has been said about it is correct. I can get a killer wake with a couple of big friends on board too. Warranty wise, I have 18 months left on the engine. I bought it with 10 hours and have 260 now, but that really is nothing on these engines. This thing has been babied. Give me a call, the info is in the ad Cary posted.

I don't know anything about the market in KY, but $52K for that particular X-30 seems pretty steep to me too. At this point in the season, I think that boat would go for about $46K around here. My dealer has a couple of zero-hour '04 X-10's he's asking $46K for.

I'm shocked that you can buy an X-30 without a tower or the ballast.

I thought those were called MariStars?

My boat, which I was referring to for comparison to the OP's considered X-30, is a MariStar 230VRS.

That popping sound you just heard was me recovering from a rectal cranial inversion. In other words my head was up my .........

Thats what I get for reading the post too quick.

          Sorry BigMac.

I've also got the 230VRS (a few years older than yours).

Regarding pricing...the Zeroflex tower is about 6 grand and I'm not sure what the ballast tanks run, so maybe 52 isn't that bad a deal.

I don't know the formula for depreciation with respect to hours.

Yeah, I don't know any of that stuff either. I'm sure that used boat prices must vary from region to region. I was thinking that was a lot of money for that boat based on my dealer selling two holdover '04 X-10s with all the goodies and zero hours for $46,000 each, and that was about a month ago. If he's still got 'em, I'll bet they're even less now. It hasn't snowed here yet, but the leaves are starting to turn - fall is just around the corner.
