    Maybe this is old news but I Stumbled on this when I googled some info on my garage door-we all keep easy to grab stuff in our garages never mind access to the house!

    Good information to share...fire fighters / law enforcement have been using this as an emergency entrance point for years...only a matter of time before the secret would get out...definitely worth the trouble of a zip tie!

                This almost needs to be a sticky for awhile....

                Seems like those of you that have Windows on the top panel are more susceptible.

                        My door is 10 tall without windows so it would be a little more difficult, but thanks to OP for sharing.

                            this isn't new, i've safeguarded my garages from this for years.

                            most police depts will send someone to your house to help you safeguard it.

                              I have been using this method to break into houses for years now. We learned this after getting sick and tired of drilling out front door locks.
