How hard is it to surf with the X2 with the 310 hp motor?

From what I've seem here, with the right ballast set up, it's not hard at all :-)

I have the MCX an surfing is good. The motor is not the limiting factor, weight is but that's easily added.

What year X2? My 07 is great with stock ballast, a 450 lb bag on whichever side you plan to surf on. I run 9 - 10 MPH and need 10' of water to get a good surf wake.

What year X2? In my opinion, weight is no longer the primary means of making a surf wake. Delayed convergence using an aftermarket wake gate along with an evenly weighted boat is the way to go. You can buy a device that was designed just for the later model X2 at wake-shaper.com.

2006 and up Surf easy-very good.
Stock + 1000 with a Wake Shaping device makes life easy.

X2 surfs really well with the 310. It's all the motor that you need in that boat.
