I have a question re: the pre set surf settings. Why are they different depending on which side you surf? For ex: surf left steep is 0 0 70 but surf right steep is 90 25 0. Why wouldn't it just be the opposite? What do the tabs switch to if you hit the "switch sides" button?Comment

If I put 3500 pounds additional ballast, as you did in the video, plus the extra standard ballast the X23 has over the X25, would I see I similar wave? I'd have to think it might not be THAT great (as the video shows), but it would probably be pretty sweet.
I'm certain stock to stock the X23 wave is better than my X25. The question is, is it 50K better?

May as well try on your X25 with 3.5k of bags/boys/beers first. The guys at fly high consistently say for the ultimate wave to bury your surf side corner rub rail a few inches over the waterline no matter the craft or surf device.
Some boat manufacturer is going to pull that massive wave off with no ballast sitting on the seats or in the walkways. Not sure that forthcoming barge will cruise or ski though.Comment

I'm pickin up what you're putting down. No need to upgrade from an already great surf wave on our X10 after already having sold a kidney. Thus far, we've put 82 hours in this season with a ton of surfing in the Colorado Freakin Rockies, including the kids and noob friends.
