X10 small screen

Looking to buy a 2016 X10. The boat I like has the 4.3 inch screen, wanted the 7 inch one. Would I be satisfied with the smaller screen?

I have it and it is fine. - if you never had the large screen u won't miss it

Both screens function the same way. Small screen uses program buttons beside the screen where the big screen has touch screen functionality. The big screen also lets you store custom profiles.

I changed out prior to delivery. For me I would always miss the user profiles and the added functionality.

Digging up an old thread, but it is relative to me! Does the small screen have more than one wakeboard profile? First time out on the boat was last weekend. It is a 2017 X10. When I click go home (I think) all the ballast emptied, but the forward tank stayed full. I got annoyed and click factory reset and another profile showed up that said wakeboard pro. The boat was angry I did the reset and showed no fuel and oil change required. After resetting the battery the fuel corrected itself and I figured out how to reset the oil change. When I got home and starting looking through the profiles and wakeboard pro was gone again!!

weird, I don't think the small screen has more than one wakeboard profile, and you can't adjust it either (you can adjust it, but not change the default settings) . It is what it is as far as I know.

I think you need to swap to the big screen for that. It's just a few grand to swap out

I would probably do it for a couple grand, but I think it is more like 5K. Currently on sale for 4250 without the benzel.

My buddy has a 2017 with the small screen and the dealer told him it was about $6k for the swap.

That is crazy! I can't believe it is more than an hour job. Can anyone else confirm there is only one wakeboard profile? I could have swore the XT21 with small screen at the boat show had 3 different profiles. I can understand not being able to save custom profiles, but only giving one setting for wakeboarding is odd.
