197 engine issue, need advice asap
I replaced the plugs, distributor cap, rotor, PCV and the ECT. Also changed oil and filter. Took the boat out yesterday and the boat ran fine. It starts right up and runs strong, but I still notice the rich fuel smell. We ran the boat for 3 hours wakeboarding with no issues other than the strong fuel smell. Need advice on what to do next. Here's a video on the fuel injectors. They seem to be working fine.

I've got the same type of thing - but it's fuel source-specific. Most of the season there is no noticeable exhaust, but during our annual week long trip to Dale Hollow - once I use fuel from the marina the exhaust is terrible. Come back home to Indiana and use whatever variety of fuel that is convenient, and the problem goes away.

I had a hard time using the auto parts cross reference in the information library. I kept seeing MCX and other engines but it was hard to tell what was for my predator. So I just spent the time checking what part numbers I could get off my old parts with new ones. Here's what I found so far:
Distributor cap
Rotor
Wires
Fuel pump (perfect fit btw)
Fuel filter (in tank) was a little tall but made it work
Plugs (I love NGK only)
Impeller
Of course these can be had cheaper at rockauto and other places, I just love amazon cause I want stuff now... not next week. I bought new injectors from Autozone so I don't remember the part number but most parts I have been getting are for a 1995 Chevy K1500 5.7 pickup. I'm pretty sure most things are the same.
Do not use Automotive starters or alternators though, they can generate sparks and blow up the fumes the blowers don't get.
