My wife and I host a grandparent's camp each year for our grandchildren after they get past 3 years old. We had this over the past weekend with our 2 oldest, ages 5 and 4, one from our daughter and one from our son. Last Friday, we went to Lake Georgetown for the whole afternoon into the evening. Here are a couple of shots of the boys riding the ski trainers, they call them rockets.
In 1993, my wife and I went camping/boating one weekend with two other couples. It was the only time the six of us were together but over the next 27 years, our lives intersected occasionally in some fashion as each couple raised a family in three different states. This past weekend, three of our kids - who only met a few years ago - pulled together their own boating and camping trip and had a blast. Even cooler is that like their parents, they’re all into slalom skiing with the boy on the left even buying his own 1988 ProStar.
Great shot too Ranger! There is just something about all the structures in there.
On another note.....
Not a picture that makes you happy but I got a nice chuckle after reviewing the return policy at Great Lakes:
