What I don't understand is the marketing confusion of the XT series. What does the XT stand for Mastercraft? Does the XT stand for X series "tradition bow" or is it a new series of boat between the NXT (budget series) and X series?
My dealer said it is second one, but reading this review it sounds like it stands for traditional bow. That makes the most sense, as I heard they are releasing the XT21 in the Spring of 2017.

MC should just put out a press release, video, or Instagram to put this issue to bed for TeamTalk

The more I see the prices, the more I am confused as well. If it is indeed between an NXT and X series shouldn't there be more attention to cost?
172K MSRP? It is an absolutely beautiful boat but that is 20K more than the MSRP on my 2015 and I had every box checked except the power tower PLUS I had the 7.4. Add the 7.4 to this boat and you are nearly 190K MSRP!!!!!!
Maybe they are waiting for the official release of the XT21 (which I've heard will replace the X10). Then they will not have a traditional bow in the X series line-up.
For what is is worth, I've also heard some say the XT series is their crossover line-up...(who knows)
I did, fairly certain I destroyed my knee in the process. Hands down the best slow speed wake in the lineup. I ran it at 22.5 65ft, and it has a great transition with a more mellow lip. Wakeboards better than the x23.

This is what I have been told by a reliable source.
