Yeah, work has me tied up in DC for at least the next year. I gave some serious thought to just putting it in storage, but between work and a newborn, it's not the worst time to be boatless. And I'm playing the long game on the home front. Besides, I'm glad to hear someone is enjoying it!

Hey JBaker, Putting the boat in storage would be a shame, since I always feel great when it's at the dock, and I'm at my office 90 minutes away from it, working away. However, I did put mine in storage a few weeks ago in my garage - and even got the tower up inside.

Is that warranty material, since it appears to be a manufacturer defect that allows the potential??

I had the flip-up bolster abrade my main seat cushion because a section of the stitching was a bit out of whack and it made a high point. MC sent me a new cover and reimbursed me to have an upholsterer replace it. The nearest dealer for me is interstate and requires an overnight ferry trip to get there so any issues I've had, I've sorted and been reimbursed.

You should have no issues getting that on warranty.

Thanks Greg. Yep the plans were for something small, but as we considered the fact that I stored my boats in heated space at the cost of almost a few hundred per month, it became larger - and floor heated. Then that lead to a hang-out space, which lead to a second floor, which lead to a higher building - which lead to a bylaw request for a taller building...and it grew to this proportion. All in all, glad we decided to do it right, and it's now nicer than the cottage. LOL
