  • '17 Boat Show // Pic Thread

Denver 1/6 - Hosted by the new Mastercraft Colorado, now the largest MC dealer including most of the northwestern stores in the US. 90 total boats in inventory. Really good people joining good folks from S&W Denver - Alan Slabaugh and Ronnie.

Best in Show. X23 in a spectacular color setup, cool touch, ZFT7, dockstar.

    X26. Barge and In Charge.

'17 XT23's, much prefer the gel schemes over the '16's.

Nice to see the batteries in the port side aft corner. Makes sense.

'17 X10, still does it for me.

    '17 X23.

Liking the new XT trim at the helm.

New powerplants have easily accessible manifold drains (yellow dot), impellar cover & strainer (lower left). All are closed cooled so water only goes into manifolds and heat exchanger with none in the block, and all having transom flush fittings.

Another highlight was having the opportunity to shake hands with Jeff from Soulcraft, who made my board. Felt like I was meeting one of the godfathers of surfing. He'll be getting another order from me soon.

    P5 laying on some flake.

    More shots coming.

Naughty GS22. Love the layout, functionality, bags vs hard tanks, massive storage, transom seating in crossover. New hull and transom asymmetrical for balanced wake despite prop rotation sounds interesting. While I'm a huge fan of Seadek Fauxteak, there's so much of it in the Naughty that it feels like sitting in a giant pencil eraser. Could be the green and brown contrast not sure as the more traditional blue/white/greys are much more appealing to me at least. Towers and biminis look like the Hunchback of Norte Dame, saw two guys struggling with one for 10 minutes.

Chap had the best looking forward stern drive (stump puller), though still dubious that muted surf wake is sufficient even at $78k.

Wow that first x23!!!! Someone killed the design stage of that boat!

Then that gs22! That thing had my attention at go! That's a sexy boat for lime green.

MasterCrafts are so beautiful. I find the wrap around windshields look dated now. I remember not liking the chop shields and now they just seem normal like the pickle fork

That first blue and Black X23 is beautiful. In the inside they just should of gone with a dark interior to complement the exterior colors as the white is just completely out of place, but everything is subjective of course.

btw why is it that in the red and white X23 the boat has a big touch screen, and the dash tweeters, which tells me that the boat has the comfort and convenience package, but then it does not have the fender clips on the side that are part of that package if I remember correctly??? weird

^If I had hung up the slalom ski already, that black/blue x23 would have hurt the wallet. The ZFT7 was cool but as a $4k option not something we would do especially with the tremendous functionality of the ZFT4.

Wilhelm, a murdered out flake exterior and interior with that blue welting and gel highlights would be killer.

^Both of you have previously been invited aboard the good ship Moose in CO. You show up aboard at 8,100' elevation, you get the hat and keychain.

Ttu, great to meet you in WP over the holidays.
