It's been loooong time since I've been out there. Any riding spots? Is worth bringing the 210? I know we have a nice cabin cruiser lined up . Any must hit spots for night life? It's Bachelour gig.

Pretty much what I have planned as well , just trying to decide if bringing the boat is worth towing it.

I don't think its worth the tow. PIB is fun in a different way.

I agree, rode the big ferry across to the island and it felt like the ocean. Don't think it's worth towing it.

I had my bachelor party there last year.

My friends were trying hard to convince me to take the boat. Upon leaving on the ferry I concluded I would have sunk it after about 500m, the water was crazy choppys. All my friends agreed.

Putin bay is fun though. I cant believe that was my first time there. Sucked I wasn't single.

The guys made me carry a blow up doll around all weekend. It led to some great times all weekend, and one fight with a dude who couldn't handle the attention we were getting at the bar.

Oh ya, do not leave buying booze for Ohio. We noticed all the hard liquor was only 20% by volume. Not sure how the state works, but that's pretty ghey. As are speed traps...watch for speed traps

We smuggled all our booze in on the ferry. So look into why we did that. I'm not sure why we did. Maybe its supposed to be a dry island?

Put-In-Bay to me: Take the ferry or jet express over, rent a golf cart, and go bar hopping. If you had a big cabin cruiser, maybe ride it over and rent a slip, but with a MC, not a good idea.

Whats the GTG all about and when is it?

Put In Bay is a blast.....cant go wrong with a bachelor party there.

don't bring the boat - big waves will sink quickly....water gets downright nasty.........

Ohio sells liquor at liquor stores - not grocery stores. if you buy at a grocery story - liquor is watered down - don't ask me why. In Indiana no beer or liquor on Sunday - probably a religious thing - also stupid. Every state has it's own quirks I guess......

Great time, haven't been in years and last time i was there it was on a friends 40 footer. We have a place about 20 miles across the lake on the Canadian side.

When it's super calm the skiing is hard to beat, miles of open water without having to turn. The so called endless pass. Too bad these days only come about once a season. The rest of the time it's mild rollers on the calm days. Average day starts out at less than a foot chop to two footers. Bad days are insane and boats do sink out there (after all it is a great lake). No way would I pull any distance for a chance at having a calm day, your odds would be about 15 - 20% that you would be able to ski.

I live a half hour from there. Don't bring your boat unless you plan to play with it somewhere else along the way.

Put in Bay is my second home, it's not a place for your MC. Take the ferry over and enjoy everything the island has to offer. My favorites are The Blue Marlin pool bar for the daytime drinking and the scenery. Catch a "Mad Dog" show at the roundhouse in the afternoon too. Evenings, anywhere downtown is fun. We are usually out at the end of B dock in a 34' Baja Sportfish tied up to a 54' Viking, if you see the boat hit us up, we will buy you a beer.

Hard place not to have a good time! Enjoy!!

Yes, we bought ours at a grocery store. This makes sense now.

Oh ya. One thing I remembered. We talked about driving onto the fairy so we could have a ride while we were there. On the Sunday when we were leaving, I think the line up to the fairy was like 2 miles long. I kid not. We also didn't drive anywhere. Everything is within walking distance and you can rent the golf carts.
