Perhaps it's just me, but I'd actually prefer the standard dash with a couple of old school round dial gauges for primary data. The multi-screen displays seem like a recipe for trouble down the road. Seems to work that way in the airplane world anyway! Different approach when the user vs the airline/military is paying for troubleshooting.

YES x 100000000000! Im glad we have our '16. I like the analog gauges and the 7" or whatever it is touch screen to the right. This is perfect for us. Some things are better left alone.

Same here...I wonder how much it will cost to replace those screens out of warranty. I've got the small screen. I thought about upgrading to the big screen. At 3-4K, it's something I may or may not do. But those screens...I bet it's 8-10k to replace them.
8-10k is outlandish. 10k is more than the option itself.
OK, so 10K is probably a little much. But realistically, what is the best guess on replacement cost. Keep in mind it costs around 3k for the current big screens to be replaced. Thinking about it more, I would guess 7-8k to replace both of the new screens...

I agree with you. I like the analog dials coupled with a screen. But then again I own a 2016 and love the dash. Classic MC
