Congrats! One of the best gel and interior schemes I've seen this year. Love the blue piping in the interior.

          She Floats!

Got her in the water today. Not a ton of time out, but enough for a quick rip and to set somethings up...

First things first. The stereo. I don't get the complaints. This stereo is night and day better then the JL stereo in my 2016. 75% volume was loud AF. It is crisp and clean audio. (I was plugged into the USB)

Triple tab auto launch is badass. Being able to switch between 1 and all 3 at the press of a button is a nice feature.

So far so good. She's home for the season now...

That looks great. How do you go about cleaning the sides of the boat? My MCOCD would drive me nuts lol!!

Of course on a Spec Build, Dealer/MC require a deposit.

From a Cash buy perspective, it would still be the same , deposit to build , then COD

Dealer/MC sees no difference of course.
For our x20 custom build it was $10,000 at time of order and then the rest when we picked it up.

The one side is fine because of the dock, but the far side is a bit of a reach from inside. It's doable but painful, literally, lol...

Yeah, I am really happy with how it turned out. If anyone is on the fence with this dark grey color, don't be, it's extremely nice in person. When I wipe it down with a conditioner it really has a nice sheen to it, beautiful.

That seems really high for a deposit

My current X20 was through a Broker, they wanted up to $5000 or 10% as a standard deposit .
I did not end up doing any deposit at all. But the were pretty insistent about it.
I told them I just wanted to pay for the boat in full.
Took some back and forth to convince them. ...

With a new boat , Special ordered , I could see a Depost needed in the $1000-5000 Range?

A custom order (unless it’s ugly AF or not a common boat for the market) bears little risk since they can just sell it in their inventory though.

Exactly what happened in my case. Dealer didn't need anything down on a custom order. He said he would sell it if things didn't work out.

                                Dockstar

What are your thoughts on the dockstar so far? Torn on if it would be worth it down the road someday.

Beautiful boat by the way. Love how it turned out.
