Is anyone using these fenders?? Would like to know what others thoughts are and what people are currently using. While at my home lake I pull the boat out in the evenings but spend 10-14 days in the Shuswap and have a slip that we keep the boat in while out there and would like the best protection as possible. Can be some big rollers that hit the docks.

I bought 3 in the light grey. Was tempted at the colored ones but they don’t match so... I’ve used 2 of them but only once so far. They are soft. In a great way. They are also much larger than I had expected, again which is great. I find them easier to store than the sausage style and can easily fit 3 of them in front of the driver station under the window behind the front seat back that flips up. So right in front of the partition to the electrical service panel/distribution panel.
They hug the contour of the boat nicely and the included straps are longer than anticipated which will allow hanging from many different spots like the tower or pontoon rails if you have one. I’ve only used them attached to the pop up cleats over the top of the ropes (although they do have molded pass throughs for the ropes) and they are so easy and fast to hang. I put them out (2) very quickly and not having to tie ropes or adjust ropes was worth every penny of the $64/fender price.
So far I don’t regret getting them at all. They will protect the boat much better than the round ones. While a bit pricey at $64, I find them to be high quality and expect them to last many years. I purchased them from missions online store. Shipping was quick once they had them in stock which took a few months. But hey, they are a brand new hot item that is going to change tie ups for the better.
I call these a buy

I've been looking at these also, I often tie up feel like my traditional fenders hang lower than I would like so these look like a good alternative. I'd love to get the yellow ones to match my boat but those sound like a nightmare for my mcocd. I feel like I'd be cleaning them constantly because alot of docks on our lake have black rub rails that can leave marks.

I have 2 of them, ordered them at the Minneapolis Boat show. I really like them and have gotten rid of the old rubber air cylinder bumpers that I had before. Its nice to be able to quickly adjust them on your boats cleats when you approach a different dock. I do think they are a tad expensive for boat bumpers, but i wasn't using the rubber bumpers before and i will use these more our of the convince of being able to use them. They are packaged well from Mission and are easy to use.2016 Mastercraft X-20

These look great for docking at marinas and gas pumps, and I like how easy they appear to be to use. The most attractive thing to me is that I think they would take up less space in the boat and give me back a little storage...so that's a plus.
However, my real concern is that I often tie up in busy coves to one of my friend's docks. Just wondering if any of you have tried these Mission bumpers in a cove with wakesurfers and big rollers??? It seems to me that the traditional round ones would be better in that scenario because these would just slide up and down against the boat instead of turning. Thoughts??

I don't think they're thick enough to keep your boat off of a 4x4 post. They're close but I'd want a larger factor of safety in that case.I'm an Indy Skiers member. Contact me about course skiing in Indianapolis.
