I’ve tried a bunch of different products and my favourite is Boat Candy’s Speed Gloss. I find it does the best job of getting rid if the hard water spots and leaves a nice shine.
Performance Boat Candy™ Speed Gloss™ uses the finest ingredients available to clean, protect, and add a deep gloss finish to your boat or watercraft. This proprietary formula contains the highest grade Carnauba wax and gloss enhancers along with a biodegradable water spot remover to produce a clean, long-lasting shine with UVA and UVB protection. Speed Gloss™ gently removes hard water spots and micro contaminants while adding an additional layer of wax for an unparalleled brilliance.

Boat Bling Hot Sauce after every outing …. annual wax (sometimes more) … boat looks like new and we do week long trips on some mineral rich water and some scummy rivers.
Boat Bling is used by a bunch of us that just did Buckeye Bash this past weekend!Ski in snow, ski in water, and always have fun!

Many threads on this. By reading historically, I would say it depends on the water you are in. What works well for some water, may not touch spots from other water. Try to find someone where you boat and check with them. Water/vinegar mix does not work at all for us. Babe's spot remover does. Other folks have great luck with water/vinegar.
