AhH... perhaps my dealer's salesman, a rookie with Mastercraft, didn't know to set the tab. We had a very bouncy test drive when trying to plane the x20. He came back the next day and suggested he should have put some ballast in the bow to settle the boat. I'll be looking to test drive the X22 when it's available. May have to travel to Texas to get it done.

Flathead lake does get crazy and unpredictable. Kind of creates its own weather, just like the great lakes. However, we surf on Whitefish Lake most often. Only 6 miles long and pretty calm. Pretty smokey right now however with all the wildfires. Thinking the X24 might be too big for our clan and dock.
