I think the X22 will likely surf about the same so... I hope it fits because no other X series does at the moment. Might have to switch to another brand if not!

I'm hoping the x22 doesn't kangaroo as much as the x20 did. Thoughts?
I'd love to order this boat. It's a beauty!

The X20 Kangaroo affect is muted by 50% tab a cruise.

The length of the X22 will certainly require less tab at Cruise.

You can order it once it releases in September, I tried to ask the dealer how many they are getting but unknown since it's not "officially" out

AhH... perhaps my dealer's salesman, a rookie with Mastercraft, didn't know to set the tab. We had a very bouncy test drive when trying to plane the x20. He came back the next day and suggested he should have put some ballast in the bow to settle the boat. I'll be looking to test drive the X22 when it's available. May have to travel to Texas to get it done.

Normally I just throw by bow down if there is any bounce. If you guys were out in flathead and it was some rollers that could cause it. Also when it gets too rough in my nxt20 I do throw ballast in the center tank to help with the chop and make the boat heavier to cut through the waves

I went to Flathead last year. That place is amazing. I would not want to break down on that lake though.

Got caught one year in a storm with my wife. We were out on a seadoo and the waves were as high as the seadoo was long. It was pretty epic storm. Another one was with out nxt20 ran around a turn to head up the lake and it went from 1-2 foot rollers to rollers up to the size of the rub rail on the nxt20 that was SCARY! Happy to be safe after that one and didn't take any water over the bow due to the deep v hull. X22 will fit perfect for this lake if the buyer doesnt have a truck to pull a x24

I’ll be very curious to see if this wakeboard wake is better than my star....

Flathead lake does get crazy and unpredictable. Kind of creates its own weather, just like the great lakes. However, we surf on Whitefish Lake most often. Only 6 miles long and pretty calm. Pretty smokey right now however with all the wildfires. Thinking the X24 might be too big for our clan and dock.
Glad to hear you made it through the storms.
