  • Next in line. X24 build.

My next boat is in production now. Not sure this one will exceed my expectations as much as my XStar did....... but I’m going to hold on to the XStar until I am sure that I like the 24 better. I was mostly drawn in by the transom lounge and additional space. Hoping the fall weather will allow me 20-30 hours on this rig, before putting it up for the winter. I should see it next week!

Fairly loaded with 6.2l. Pretty sure I will do a big stereo upfit this winter, and throw in some RGB U/W lights.

I was expecting your boat to be the black and red. Love the red interior.

Look forward to seeing how you like the X24 vs. Xstar.

I like the color scheme on my XStar better as well....

However, spend a year trying to keep that XStar perfectly spotless looking, and you’ll see why I made this difficult decision. If the water on this lake wasn’t so full of dissolved solids, I’d have done a similar color scheme again. My lake is terrible for water spots. Sometimes I wish I was on lake George.....

My last three boats have been really dark. I’m ready for an easy one for a year.

Understandable, same reason I wanted a white hull as well. Stereo build?

Sweet... Real curious to hear your thoughts.

Only thing I dont love about my star is that it feels somewhat cramped coming from a 23LSV.

The red tower accents + red mc logo got me in my feels.

                      Looks Great!

440, does it not bother you that the red on the tower and the red interior don't match?

I never understood why MC doesn't match those colors. Maybe its just the pictures.

Also, didn't you have your Xstar ceramic coating. Did that not help with water spots coming off easy?

hey 440 why the 6.2 instead of the 7.4? i've seen in other posts you have had the 7.4 and said the fuel usage is the same.

due to a force of nature i'll be ordering a new boat this winter. i'm between the x22 and x24 and really want to try out the 7.4.

Ya, not 100% sure yet, but I might do a full swap over to JL VXi amps, and the new M6 series JL speakers. I’d still probably keep the touchscreen head unit controls and dsp/zone control.

It doesn’t bother me all that much. Often times, even when a boat company tries to match upholstery, it still doesn’t match anyway.

I did ceramic coat it. It did help for removing the water spots a lot easier, but it doesn’t help with preventing them in the first place. I’ll be ceramic coating the X24 as well.

Due to the fact that I upgrade every year, the 6.2 is the smarter move. The 7.4 upcharge is too much to repeatedly pay it, and then turn around and lose most of that upcharge every year.

I have found that they are not worth any more on the used market..... not between those two engines anyway. I wouldn’t even think of doing the 5500. Used buyers never like the small engine. But they don’t seem to care all that much, as long as it has an upgraded engine.
