Anyone know where I can get a 40th Anniversary badge?

Sorry if this isn't the right place but it seems like it gets more traffic.

I'm in need of a 40th anniversary badge for the side of my 40th X Star. One is in good shape. The other has most of the chrome "plating" torn off. MasterCraft no longer has them. I've contacted Great Lakes Skipper, Texas MasterCraft, JAWS and other dealers and nobody has them.

If I can't find one, I'm going to see if a local vehicle wrap place can wrap it in chrome if I can't find one. Anyone try that? Would prefer to have an original if possible.

    Thanks!

It’s a long shot but check with Rambo Marine here in Hsv. They used to be an MC dealer. Ask for Lex in parts (there’s another Lex in sales). He can check the B’ham location too.

        They are foam. Correct? Plastic?

I have a couple of spares, but have no intent of getting rid of them. I might volunteer to let someone use one as a template if we could source a company/individual who could recreate these though...

They are hard plastic, polystyrene I'm guessing. I quick search shows this:

Auto upholstery shops looking to spruce up a bland interior can use one of these six methods to transform plastics into chrome.

I'd check with Cideas in Crystal Lake Illinois. They are a world class 3D printing company and the owner is a great guy! I'm sure he could reproduce them if there isn't an issue from MC. Check out the website and see some of the things he has made. www.buildparts.com Good luck.

As stated, they are plastic with a sheet of chrome over it. That's why I'm thinking of trying a sign place that does vehicle wrapping. Would really like to have an original. Had one lined up but when the owner went to look for it he couldn't find it. Ugh!

Tried the chrome wrap from a sign place and it didn't work. I got a quote for about $350 to re chrome it but I may try the paint.

Unless anyone reads this and has one.
