Boat lift for an XT25 in Washington

We are looking to buy a boat lift for an XT25 at a lake house in Washington and this is our first time buying a lift. The property we are looking at has a ten year old 6,000 lb Basta lift currently at the dock. I have been told I should upgrade to an 8,000 lb lift which makes sense given the weight of the boat.

I have heard good things about Basta lifts but I have a few questions for those with experience willing to share:

What is a reasonable price for that an 8,000 lb galvanized lift?

What is typical cost for installation?

What is a reasonable cost for canopy?

Finally what should the 6k Basta be worth for a trade in on the new lift?

We have had an 8k lb Basta for the past 5 years and have been very pleased. It is in deep water of 10-15’ and no issue with extended poles for footings.

Only suggestion is get larger solar chargers up on your canopy with SW exposure, or wire power for the lift.

Ain’t cheap but would say worth the price. Will dig up invoice and PM you specifics.

did you buy that canopy? or make it? I am looking for one that attached to my dock and not the lift
