I am confident my dealer can fix it no problem because they are awesome but just wish I could figure out how to do it on my own...its a pride thing!

Mine's 2016 X23 single screen but doing the exact same thing everyone was talking about.

Mine's now back perfect.
From what I’m hearing, it has to do with the dual screen boats?

Are these general electrical/software issues really this common? What feedback are you getting from your dealers?

The depth finder on my 2018 xt21 wasn't working when i bought it, the dealer did fix it finally, don't know what the fix was though. It works about 80 percent of the time, seems to struggle at higher speeds.

Mastercraft is better than this. This is a critical piece of instrumentation on which we rely to keep our substantial investment damage-free (not to mention our passengers safe). The bar for what's "normal" needs to be raised.

I could be wrong but pretty sure this is a CAN bus/ECU programming flaw or it could be an interference issue but it doesn't feel like it...
MC, do America a solid and pull the ECU programming back on shore, then important things like depth reading would not get lost in translation. It would also give the youth of America jobs so I can actually retire some day! I am truly speculating but do we know who is developing software for MC? I suspect they have local leadership with actual production being done in another country?

my depth finder seems to work fine in shallower water, at slow or fast speed. By shallower, I mean under 100ft. When I go out into the ocean however, the readings are all over the place. It'll even show me shallow water alarms randomly, when the water is clearly not shallow. Kind of annoying, having other people seeing it and asking if we're about to beach in the ocean lol...

Same issue with our XT. It works so little that when I do get a reading it’s slightly startling.
