Must be the 2019 X22 only then. Sorry for the confusion. For the X22 specifically then, it’s a big difference.

Eric at OJ got back to me and recommended the new WakePro v4 prop, 18 x 15.5. I’m leaning that direction.

Pretty sure they should all be 2:1 unless you have the 7.4L.

There should be a massive tag on top of the transmission that has the drive ratio... easy to check before anyone orders a prop, because that would make a huge difference...it would also make more sense as to why some people are being told to go with a 15.5 pitch prop. My stock Xstar prop is a 16 pitch and I can't imagine wanting anything lower than that (I guess maybe if you were at super high altitude).

          The 2019 x22 is 2:1.

          The 2019 x22 with a 7.4 is 1.57:1

I have a 2019 X22 with a 6.2 and it has the 2:1. At 28 mph I am at 4200 rpm. I bought a 18x17.5 but have yet to put it on, so I cant say how much it changes it.

Now I’m bouncing back and forth. The Acme 3289 out of stock at Wakemakers, but I’m heading their direction this weekend and will pick up the OJ 1844 18 x 15.5 and their performance guarantee so I can exchange it for the 3289 when it’s back in and I can compare the two.

Thanks for all the feedback and education!

the RPM will come down nicely with an Acme 3289.

my dealer puts Acme props on pretty much all their new boats. the performance is significant.

Cool. Will go with the Acme 3289 if I can find one in stock some where. Wakemakers is out.

Call Acme direct, they matched Wakemakers price and sent it out same day.

M-Had a customer rolling the new V4 prop on his boat XT23 (different prop), He loved it before he bent one fin bad enough that it was unfixable. My point is, the new V4 props sound promising.
