Thanks for checking 440. I called a few more dealers and no one has the kits and no one has an ETA from MC.

It sounds like it is an easy fix. I assume this is just a replacement of the fuel pressure regulator? Just trying to understand what is involved.

I was sorry to lose WaterSports Central when it moved to Nautique, but I have been very impressed by both the service and parts departments at Skier's Marine in Gainesville.

440 you have a kit in stock? I can get a dealer to do the work if I can find a kit.

Ha, I was about to send you a PM to make sure it was done to your X Star. I'm calling them in the morning.

There is a large backorder on these right now from what I know. No one can get them.

So anyone else having issues getting this done?

I made my appointment a month ago with the local dealer. The dealer set aside a kit for my boat. I called yesterday to confirm all was good as I have to drive over the day before to lake house to get the boat. They confirmed yesterday all is good. Dealer just called to say they put my kit in another boat, they have no more, and they cannot get any more from Mastercraft.

I guess this is not as big a priority as the letter stated....

Also a shoutout to Ryan and the great crew at Northwest Boat Sports! About two weeks ago we got our boat back from storage which they delivered to our house (stored with them)! They're about 40mins without traffic, such a good service.

Anyway, I was a bit bummed to get the recall letter knowing I was going to have to make a trip back to see them. I called to schedule the service, surprise, they let me know they already did the service before dropping off the boat two weeks ago! As said above, dealers matter and these guys are the nines!

Yup, I got the letter (and wondered about the date, post marked date, delivery date, etc).

Mine goes in next week for this and a handful of other warranty items.

I also found a couple posts on the Mastercraft Facebook pages. Some dealers are even driving customers to do the recall. It didn't even occur to me to request that.

Ya, dealers should have pretty good stock on the parts. It's a pretty easy recall. Takes an hour to complete. We have done a few of them already.

Big shoutout to Hans and his crew at Hans’ Boat Works. We were on the list as well. Got us in and out in an hour! No lost time on the water. Thanks for everything you do for us.

Just found out two of our friends, who bought their boats from Hans also got the recall notice as well. Hans dispatched a mechanic to do the swap in their driveway at their lake homes......120 MILES ONE WAY!

It has been said many times....your dealer matters.

Yep I got my letter last week. My dealer already had me on the list when I called them. They also said if I needed to get on the water they would get me in and out same day. I think these things they will push others out of the way to get them done.
