kids love to tube. Had to get a new bandwagon 4 person today and wondering if the booster ball really enhances the experience

It distributes the load of the tube between the 2 transom hooks. Not sure if it's absolutely necessary but it seemed like a good idea. It has a quick connect to the tube rope on the single end so it's easy to tie it all together.2000 Prostar 205V

I bought the Sportsstuff booster ball just so I could use the back seat when tubing. The transom hook is a pretty low tow point on a 197 and the ball does the trick. Never any issues or concerns pulling from the pylon either, but not very convenient for us.

On my 205 there is a transom tow hook in the center that is for towing and specifically says not for lifting. I know a tube is a heavy load, but so are jumpers and double deepwater barefoot starts and the pylon works for all of that. My 205 is a DD and the pylon in a V drive may be different.
