In a dual battery setup, should one battery be a starting battery and the other a dual cycle? I would assume so, but my manual is silent on this.

Are you referring to a lead acid battery and an AGM battery? If so, both need slightly different charging voltages to charge fully. So for such a system to work correctly it would need a battery controller.If You Find Too Many Capitals You Can Keep Them...I'm German

I need to check but I think the starting battery is lead acid. The deep cycle I just bought is a gel battery.Comment
