Just sayin', but the first manufacture that figures out a way to discretely integrate one of these in their boats... where its not visible (not the big ugly stick on a bass boat), will be on the something....
Just imagine pulling up to a sand bar, flipping a switch, spike goes down, your golden... no anchor, no rope, no hassle...

Love it. Even if it is not integrated as an invisible gadget, one will eventually get used to it (as were towers way back). Pretty soon that becomes the look of a desirable option.

Just got back from seeing the new 23 and 24. I went into it today thinking they'd be cool but nothing to special... but I was absolutely blown away. They are so well thought out.
I didn't catch really any specs on the XT24 because I am primarily interested in the XT23, so sorry about that.
They both come standard with the new Z6 tower, which is similar to the ZFT2 except it has a ZFT4 base and clamping board racks. A Z8 (shock assisted folding, has the ability to stop anywhere) and Z10 (power folding) are optional. Both towers are available with custom colors.
Ballast capacity on the XT23 is 3300 lbs with the new SurfStar system. The port and starboard tanks both extend from the transom to just behind the helm, and you of course still have your walkthrough tank and bags in the rear lockers. The surf tabs are apparently just a little thicker than the previous tabs with new actuators with position sensors. Apparently each tab can now withstand 3000 lbs of force. There was a video playing and the surf wave along with the wakeboard wake looked really really good- noticeable difference from the previous models (in pictures/video).
Besides the surf system, the technology hasn't really changed. You still have the same dash design with gauges standard, and dual screens optional. I noticed on the dual screens on the surf menu theres a wave diagram with a slider next to it. The slider can stop at any position 1 (mellowest)-7 (steepest) and the boat will automatically set its self up for your selected wave. I knew there was previously a steep/mellow button, but to my knowledge this is new. Maybe not though.
The standard engine is the 6.0 L and the 6.2 is optional. The dealer said the 6.0 has plenty of power for both the 23 and 24- they actually discouraged upgrading to the 6.2 on the XT23. They tested it with ballast full and 10 people in the boat and the 6.0 could get on plane just fine with auto launch.
In terms of interior looks and functionality, they absolutely crushed it. The new transom seats are an updated version of the X25 transom seats. They're now fully padded and super comfy. I wouldn't say quite as comfy as the loungers on the X series boats, but they are very very close. The rear lockers now include a bin that sits above the bags to really give you all the storage you can get- which is a lot.
The overall styling inside and out (but especially inside) really looks and feels like an X series boat imo. It's just awesome! The public launch is on Monday.

Parker actuators and solenoids with position feedback.....wonder if you can retrofit to older boats since the position calibration is present in the software.....
Did you see the wireless phone charging stations in Steel's Insta story?!
I saw that, thought it was just a holder and not chargers. That would draw a lot of power, there was still a plug below. When he put his phone in one the charge icon did not come on.... Still a great idea. I always have people aske where they can put their phone, I say somewhere no one will step on it LOL.
Thanks for posting. Several nice updates. One thing I’m not thrilled about is the apparent dropping of the integrated grab handles in the BTS windshield and at the base of the tower. We get a lot of use out of those.
