Looks like some of the 2022 boat updates were just posted on Mastercraft's website:
The XT24 delivers bold looks, big waves and the most customization in the market. Endless waves for all riders and styles are a breeze with the new advanced SurfStar system and 3,600 pounds of built-in ballast.

The XT24 with Surfstar is 5550 lbs dry plus 3600 lbs of ballast with a 92 gallon fuel tank and room for 17. Starts at $133,995. Well equipped at $144,995.
XT23 with Surfstar is 5250 lbs dry plus 3300 lbs of ballast with 79 gallon fuel tank and room for 16. Starts at $128,995. Well equipped at $140,995.

These boats are getting 2:1 transmissions so the 6.0L standard engine should have plenty of power. The 5.3 and 6.2 are upgrades.

The boat designer is also live: https://designmy.mastercraft.com/Des...dex?BoatId=133

I think/heard these boats are getting 2:1 transmissions so the 6.0L standard engine should have plenty of push.

This is crazy. Almost 1000lbs more ballast and 24g more fuel. Crazy redesign and curious what it will do to the current prices. Any idea if the hull has changed?

I think the video said the XT24 shares the same hull as the x24.

            If true, that is interesting.

Don't have the BTS but I use the hole in the tower base for bumpers all the time. The cleats are so clise to the rubrail that it's almost a necessity.

I’ve definitely used the grab handle for bumpers in the tower, but I don’t think I’ve ever touched the grab handle on the BTS. Null point cause I’ll never have another boat with the BTS anyways.

The touches added this year are awesome. Ability to change vent colors, tower colors, accents, etc is an extremely nice touch.

Yup we use the grab handles on the tower all the time as well. Bummer.

Very interesting that the hull is based off of the x24. Are we going to see new hull designs for the x series boats this year? Didnt sound like that was happening this year but maybe?

Specs of hull are not the same as X24 and side doesn't look the same. If it was the same hull with same surf performance and a $30K less starting price I would be very interested! I would only really need to upgrade engine. Like the look of new base tower and how it doesn't compromise style or looks. Not sure when I started thinking $130K boats were a bargain but this is sounding good.

The new flip up seat design looks nice and I would think they are standard even tho you have to select? Loungers are not listed as an option.

                      To address some common concerns...

                      1. The base tower (Z6) still has grab handles for those who were wondering. The BTS windshield ditches them.
                      2. As for the phone holders (standard), wireless charging is an option.
                      3. The rear seats are standard but the flip up backrests are optional.

They claim it is the same in the video.

I thought they said its "based off the hull of the x24" so maybe not identical but shares some characteristics.

Im also wondering if you can update older boats with the new software and actuators. Would love to put those on our boat when the current actuators fail.

MC made a slight but very functional change in the BTS grab handle in 2020, I believe. I was just on a friend’s 2018 with the thick and curved “handle” that I found impossible to actually grab. The 2020 change made the handle thinner and straight, perfect for someone in the boat to grab onto or someone on the dock to grab.

I also noticed in the email MC sent that there's a new tower design?

I also heard based on the X24 hull in the video. The two boats are obviously very similar but the X24 is longer, has more ballast, more storage, and room for one more person.
