The XT 24 is quite the upgrade to the XT lineup. I can’t wait to see how the XStar and X series will respond to that… hopefully revolutionary changes MC is capable of and not just simple evolutionary tweaks. It’s a crowded market at the top of the surf boat luxury lineup. MC needs to continue leading, not following the competition.

I’m in the market for one of these 2 boats. We are trying to get back on the water next summer after selling our 94 Maristar 2 years ago! I’ve seen the xt24. It’s awesome, but my wife really likes the traditional bow so we are leaning towards the 23. they both seem so similar. Any of you all have any ideas on why to get one over the other besides the pickle fork and more space up front? Specs seem very similar.Last edited by zpacheco; 06-22-2021, 03:02 AM.Comment

But everyone loves hanging out in our bow. With the filler cushion, there’s so much room. And that wide bow provides great storage.
If you have kids, have your wife and kids sit in both bow areas and see which they prefer.
I don’t think you can go wrong, regardless of which one you choose. That’s the beauty of it.

According to released marketing the XT24 hull is geared more towards surfing. The XT23, I would guess performs more like current XT's. I hope they do the same thing with the XT22. Pickle bow for surfing and traditional for all-around makes sense.Originally posted by zpacheco View Post

Do the new XT boats not have the new billet surf actuators? At 2:15 in this video, this XT24 does not have billet actuators.
