X22

Hi all,

New to the forum so hopefully this is the correct place to ask!

Currently own a 2015 X25 and had some work done to it and it looks great. However, I was considering upgrading and my local dealer has a brand new X22 coming in Jan/Feb and I have the opportunity to get it.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the X22, and the pros/cons they have experienced with it.

Obvious con is having to order beginning of summer to get a boat for next season is considered an "opportunity"!

I'm also hoping to get an X22 but waiting until I sell my current boat. May end up without a boat next season if all build slots are going now.

Idk, man. I have trouble placing enough value on any toy, to not only pay a premium, but wait in line to pay a premium.
Fortunately, enough people do, to keep demand way up through times like these. More power to ya!

I'm in the same boat. I was offered good money for my X23 in the spring and wanted an X22, but my dealer told me I would be lucky to get a boat before November based on his build slots. I didn't want to be without a boat this summer and my dealer didn't have anything that I could use until the new boat came in.

Before COVID, they could trade build slots with other dealers but lately no one is trading slots due to the demand.

If you're ok with price the dealer quoted, you might as well go for it if you want one for next year. Even if another dealer had open slots still wouldn't get it until end of season and then you would need to store it and warranty would start. If you plan to use in the fall you might find an earlier slot from another dealer.

The price it is what I would have expected it to be. I can't really look elsewhere as in the UK there is only 1 main MC dealer (as far as I am aware of). It's a bit of a leap in terms of price from our current boat but like you say, if I am wanting it for next year, this is the ideal time.

Moose, that boat is beautiful.

Just curious, what are you paying per gallon for non-ethanol premium fuel?
