In another thread there was talk of a 209 replacement that had a better ski wake ... basically taking the 197 and putting 18" in the middle. This would be great as it is what I have been waiting for.

Which thread is that ? I heard that in 2008, there will be a complete change for the 197 prostar. Too bad I just bought me a 2005 197 prostar. Which will be taking delivery this Saturday, Just can't wait. Do you guy think MC going to have a split front for the 2008 197 ? I just don't like the look of the X2 but is like I am going to say no when some one handed me one.

Expect a new motor in 07' and a new 209 for 07.

The MC manufacturing rep told me that they expected the 209 replacement will be in 2007. This can all change in a heart beat but that is what he told me in February.

Pickle fork? Man, I just do not know if I like the looks of the X2 or not. It is pretty funky looking from the front ... but does give some nice room in bow.

Hopefully it is an aquired taste 'cause it is about time for a new boat for me.
