Buckeye Bash 13th coming to O'Shaughnessy Reservoir on August 12, 13, and 14 for the brave hearted! (Mods can you sticky us please? You can un-sticky 12)

This awesome annual tradition continues, and will once again feature the Slalom Tourney on Friday for the Beaver Cup!

We plan all sorts of shenanigans for the 13th edition of this fine event, but you don't need to be lucky to win ... we will have swag and t-shirts and fun on the water, and food at the ramp and tons more giveways.

This event means a whole bunch to many MC owners in the state and we hope to invite friends from our neighboring states as well. All out of state guests will be welcome VIP's!

So block the date, get ready for a Buckeye the 13th like you never have seen before, oh yeah .. one more thing, get those hockey masks ready ... Jason and his chain saw may be there too!

We can't wait to share our sponsors and other details as boating season nears ..... rock on and plan on being there Friday and Saturday plus Sunday for those that dare to have some fun!!!

Alum Creek is where most campers stay. Mgboyd25 and riverman200 can provide direction on that since they stay there, but here is a web site I found: Alum Creek State Park, Ohio (alum-creek-state-park.org)

Alum Creek is the State one and across the street from it you have Cross Creek Camping, which may be a season long lease kind of place.

A little further away is Berkshire Lake Campground, some folks used to rave about the wings there.

we also had our first truck type camping in area K of O’Shaughnessy but that is just a parking lot. Overnight camping is not allowed at the O’Shaughnessy ramp.

I live in the Columbus area and historically been out of town during this annual weekend, yet follow the posts/pictures etc. Looks like an great annual event!

Just a thought I'm sure the group is thinking through... with the Bogey shut down, any ideas for back up locations? Bridge park has ample options yet trailer parking would be a mess.

Last year we found ourselves struggling to find a restaurant that would be willing to commit to a large group like ours. I think most of the places we called were dealing with short staff.

so on Saturday of the event, we ordered pizzas from our friends at Jet’s Pizza and also had a food truck, this allowed folks to stay at the ramp and it was very well received. We may do that again on Saturday and add another food truck.

on Friday of the event , we are considering Henmicks brewery in North Delaware, we are open to more ideas and hope you can attend in person this year!

Great idea for Friday. I've never been but heard great things about Henmicks - I'll brainstorm if some other spots could accommodate the group. I've got it marked so planning to join this year. Thanks in advance for organizing

Have you ever wanted to ski the slalom course or compete in a water ski competition but wondered if you were good enough?
On Friday of Buckeye Bash we host a team and individual slalom event where we handicap the skier abilities so that everyone can have fun in the course and help their team win. Each year we have had new winners and our unique format allow everyone to have tons of fun.
Keep August 12th open this year for a great event where you can help compete for the Beaver cup.

Summer is here and the countdown to Buckeye Bash 13 is on. We are super excited about many of the folks we get to see year after year at our event.

We hope to see a few more of you from out of state!

This past weekend we ended up with a small gathering at O’Shaughnessy just because we all like to ski the smooth waters. Make plans to come by and ski on August 12-14 !
