  • Indoor Storage around Indianapolis

    Hey Everyone,

I know we have a few people from Indy on the boards.

Does anyone know where I can find reasonable indoor storage?

    I have a 2000 Maristar 230VRS

Well... I have 2 alarmed barns but have them pretty full with my boat and a buddies, snowmo trailers, dixies, a tractor, hay wagon, etc... What is your idea of reasonable?

That sounds awesome. If only you had room for one more.

What is your LOA and when would you want it out in the spring? I'll do some checking, maybe we can work something out.

Sorry, I missed this reply. I am not sure on the exact length. It is a maristar 230vrs. I know the tongue doesn't swing away. I will be down there in the next couple of weeks. I could also take the platform off to make for better fitment.

Bringing this back up. I have found a few places but they want north of 140 a month for indoor. Currently the boat is at the top of the ramp in a unit at Jamestown on Cumberland. There it only costs 600 a year.

            Any other ideas?

I have a buddy that stored his at the Marion County fairgrounds in the 4H barns. I think he paid around $12/foot. It went in the first weekend of Nov and came out last weekend. I store mine an hour away at the Decatur County Fairgrounds. It's $7/foot from Nov 1-April 1. It's been a couple years since I checked, but I thought the Hamilton County fairgrounds stores boats as well, but if I recall it's $20/ft or more.

I am looking for year round storage. I have thought about doing the fairgrounds, but I am worried about it being in the open area.

I had been hunting the same prime storage place for the past (3) years since moving to Indy's northside... finally broke down and added on to my garage to avoid the boat sitting out. I'm pretty sure an indoor storage facility with large bays for boat/trailer access would do well in this town!
I had a few leads of off craigslist in the past, but nothing ever panned out.
                  Good luck!

YES, but I don't think your talking about diggin another ski lake and hanging out at it all day...
...haven't quite figured that one out yet either! Step 1- dig the lake, Step 3- make money and NOT work! It would solve the boat storage issue though. Guess I have to play the lottery to win.
