Gaston the week of the 4th (2016)

I will be on Lake Gaston the week of the 4th, near the mouth of Lizard Creek. I probably wont put in until the afternoon of the 4th, hoping the long weekend will start settling down as they do all their fireworks etc... on Saturday.

I will by trying to dial in my surf wave with my Fake Gate this week and lots of other wallying. Anyone else up for the full week?

Just left LKG today. Windy as crap the last 3 days and of course, today was perfect.

I don't think we are coming back for the 4th - we have the ability now to stay there Thursday-Monday, but will prolly avoid the 4th madness.

The big fireworks show in Peahill Creek is cancelled this year but there will still be one up at Eaton's Ferry.

We are down near Goat's Island, near the entrance to Pretty Creek.
