500 miles in, and the ECU is supposedly fried. Can’t make this stuff up.

Mine threw a CEL at 1500 miles but it fixed itself. According to the dealer sometimes these new trucks freak out until they learn your driving styles.

I was thinking the computer may limit the power train until a certain mileage is achieved. GMs way of forcing a scheduled speed or rpm until their number is achieved

I wish that was the case. This was throwing a “service DEF system, range limited “ Warning. GM engineering got involved yesterday as the dealership couldn’t figure it out. Claims a new ecu is the solution.

I've been pretty surprised with how well the old truck has done pulling my 2013 X-30. Its a 2011 that thankfully has the 6.2, bigger 6 speed trans and bigger rear end. I was going to upgrade to a duramax, but spent all my new truck money on the boat so ole Shelby the Chevy IV is going to have to stick it out.

A dealer in SC ended up with my F250. I paid 76 (new, 0 miles) traded in for 82 with 6500 miles. Now they want 95k……

Its pretty wild. I have had multiple offers on my current truck but its very hard to replace what I have.

After I whacked my F250 against that bollard a 4 weeks ago, I shopped every day for my denali. Especially given no one willing to do the employee pricing. My Chevy dealer has like 10 6.2 high countries coming in, I just didn’t want the 6.2 for how much I drive. The 3.0 is super difficult to find, and if you want a 3.0 AT4…. Forget about it. I think luke is flying to north of Abilene to get his.

Truly would be happy with the truck if it wasn’t for this. When I get a “it may be a module, or it may be an electrical issue we’re having trouble finding” is when I go….. hmm… a truck with 500 miles could leave me on the side of the road in a few weeks on my way to table rock with a boat…….. just a tough situation for me.
