70, you can see the fins on the front where the second headlight is on a 69. The inset taillights is also the other obvious difference between 69 and 70.
Beautiful car!
I knew it was a 70. The 69 has the a faux air intake vents in the upper quarter.
The Powerboost was (in my opinion) your best looking truck yet. I get it though, with the toy hauler, you probably need be in a 3/4.
I actually agree. I absolutely loved that truck, I just can’t do half tons. Probably the best truck I’ve had to date, except the 5.5mpg towing my camper and 8 towing the boat

How much did your camper weigh? I’m thinking about upgrading from the 2.7 to 3.5 for a little xtra pulling power

7500 dry. When I got 5.5 mpg, the water tank was full and all my stuff inside, so more like 8200 or more. With a side by side it’s over 10k but mine doesn’t fit in it anymore.
How does it do towing both mileage and power wise?
i know you didnt ask me but i have the same truck (z71 dmax 4x4 cc long bed) i have a tune on mine, the power is great towing our x9. ~400lbft of torque.
and the turbo brake makes braking a breeze
when we do our long cross-state tow of the boat once a summer im usually getting mid-high teens on the highway going 65 or so loaded with the boat and a handful of days worth of camping gear.

Appreciate the feedback, I was just curious what type of mileage the baby dmaxs were getting when weighed down.
