Appreciate the feedback, I was just curious what type of mileage the baby dmaxs were getting when weighed down.

I consistently get 12 MPG towing the X30.

Installed the airlift 5000 kit on my 250 yesterday. Has an internal bump stop so it should ride better than the Firestone kit I had on my 150. I’ll find out shortly. All of the tankless compressor kits are on indefinite backorder so I mounted the fill valves next to the def cap that is no longer in use.

Why the 2500 over the 3500, or is this what was available? I am planning to order a limited, but undecided between the 3/4 or the 1 ton. Either will fit my needs.

I usually try and stay away from 3500s cause my credit union won’t do anything more than 2500s.

I’d say it’s worth getting the 3500 because of the Allison trans over the 68RFE. This was the only truck available in the country in the color I wanted, that was a longhorn limited with the air suspension, adaptive cruise and a sunroof. I had to buy it from BFE Arkansas and have it shipped down here.

Unless you are going to be towing really heavy I prefer 3/4 just because they ride a little better.

I didn't think the Rams had the Allison yet. I thought the other transmission that is available is from Aisin.
