same here in the pnw, ive seen a couple out in the wild with temp tags, so theyre definitely out there.

I passed through IL over the weekend not far from the Rivian factory in Normal IL, and saw one carrier with a few trucks on it - just a glimpse, possibly 4-6 of them. And one on the road, first I've ever seen. I had forgotten they set up shop in the old DSM plant - but in any case it looks like some completed units are being delivered.

Ford had/has a big investment in Rivian, of which they wrote off over half in the first quarter of 2022.

At the end of 2021 Rivian was valued at $10.6 billion and as of March 31 was valued at $5.1 billion

We seen them about town here somewhat frequently but all of them I've seen have had manufacture's plates on them. They have a moderately sized facility in Plymouth, MI in the same complex as the Hot Rod shop I use so it's really not that big of a deal to see test mules out and about when in town. They are out there driving around so there is that.

I saw one at my local ski hill in central WI, that was months ago. I assume it was driven up from Chicago or something. They are definitely out there.

I've seen two around here. I have a deposit on one. Like the 11k towing capacity and easy to water test boats with. Lots of short trips, no long trips so it might make sense.
