wake to wake jumps on a skate are something else. i didn't attempt any my first time out this year. i've eaten it pretty hard before trying wake to wake tricks, and that's not gonna help somebody my age get to work on monday. especially behind a loaded up wake boat. pulling hard into a wake that size on a skate will make ya think! it'll make boarding seem a lot easier though...
I haven't had the sack to skate when my boat is loaded down!

I would appreciate it if you were to go like, say 142 or so. That thing plows a lot of water with me on it. Also, if you wanted yo gain like, say 100lbs, you'd be all set.I spent most of my money on booze, broads and boats. The rest I wasted. - Elmore Leonard

My buddy riding switch
Not as easy as we thought. But we got up and did some Ollie jumps and surface switches. Just getting the feel for it.

Yeah, riding it in general is rough. Been having a lot of fun with it out in the flats. Trying ollie 180's and a few kick tricks off one wake. Haven't had the nuts yet to attempt wake to wake. Not even using ballast yet.
Is it the same concept, stand up off the wake to pop and then hold it. Would the board actually stay under you without holding it on wake to wake?

You kinda gotta Ollie it. Approach wake with knees bent, push down with your back foot and let your front foot up a bit, and when the back of the board leaves the wake, bend that knee too and let the board kinda sick up to your feet. I think there are some nice YouTube videos that cover wake to wake jumps well.
