  • 98 225vrs surf setup questions

We have fallen for surfing and the best part is I haven't inflated a tube in weeks

I have 2 750s and a locker bag around 375. Normally I have 2 adults starboard in the captains chair, bench and a teen on the boat sundeck when surfing.

I have been loading 750 in starboard corner the other 750 diagonally from the back of the driver's seat to the rear bench. My daughter is doing well and I am learning.

The only time I loaded the locker my daughter didn't like the wake as much. What is the best way to use the locker bag? Fill it again in the locker and chock it up to learning curve or move it front and half load it?

Move it up front. Gees, all you had to do was ask.

          On the starboard. No triangle.

Have the same hull, but a little shorter (98 200 VrS). I use a 750 surf side locker, 350 bag in the center locker and at least 200 lbs in the bow. Although our bows sit fairly high above the waterline, I'm nervous with the wife driving for much weight in the bow bag and I steer away from lead if possible. All other body weight is distributed on the surf side and sunpad (illegally of course). Generates a long wave with plenty of push. If I had no worries of the driver, I would 100% put some more weight up front in the bow ... Gives more length of the barrel and more push.
