  • Will my boat work for wakesurfing?

Okay I have an 86 mc. Im not looking for waves from jaws just wanting to try a new water sport. Im thinking of getting a big board so I have lots of positive flotation but wondering if I can get a wave that will work with the boat. Should i just stick with skiing? New to the idea I dont want to carry weight. Im old and crashing @ 10 mph seems like a nice idea.

With weight and a suck gate you could get a wave.

Get a CWB Keg, get the Fat Sac chair, Mission Delta surf shaper and patience.

It will work but less than ideal.

I agree with this, but the wave will be small and short. It will absolutely work for you to try it though. I have surfed behind Prostars, X9, Supra Comp SD, and all kinds of other unlikely candidates.

Time is money. Plus you don't want me wrenching anywhere near your boat. I figure the $500 for the surf system is not too bad. Plus more time on the water and not swearing in the garage.
