I just purchased a Mission Delta for my 2008 X-15 and WAS excited; however, I must not have it dialed in correctly because I was NOT impressed with the wake it generated. I installed in on the opposite side of the rider, on the "lower band" of my sidewall (so underwater at time of install with boat stationary). Filled BOTH rear tanks to capacity. Filled KGB about 60%. Wake was, in my opinion, no better than stock wake just weighting the boat. Anyone have experience with the MD and where it SHOULD be installed and/or what weight distribution your using? I'm 6'3" and 225# so I need a wake that can push me more than a long wake.

Kind of makes sense... I'd say the wake did seam a bit "cleaner" with a better curl, but it actually seemed to REDUCE the height of the wave and just wasn't able to "push" my fat a$$ very well. I've got a couple of fat sacks along with the hard tanks, so I may try those as well. I've got an email into the MD folks as well to see if they have any suggestions.

Full factory ballast, 600s in the rear lockers (750s don't fit perfect, but they'll fit) and maybe another 600-750 in the bowAric

Okay... Thanks!! I'll give that a try... I think the fat sacks I have are 750# because they do NOT fit that well in the lockers. I'll go full KGB and put a couple of people of upfront as well. Any insight on where on the hull (and orientation) for the MD? I had it as far to the rear as I could, so almost even with the stern, on the bottom "vertical plane", below waterline. Thoughts on that? Thanks for your help! We will not be out again until Labor Day Weekend, but I'm hoping for better results.

On my 2009 X15 I fill the KGB and port sides completely full, Starboard about 50%, and use a 600 lb bag full in the port side locker. I still prefer mine weighted to one side and put riders in the port side corner. I put the mission delta on the opposite side on the lowest level it will attach (must be very bottom of hull completely under water when idle) directly inline withthe X on the graphics with the the tab forward. Hope this helps..

I have tried both ways with the tab forward and back and haven't noticed much change. Focus on the weight first and make sure your mounting it completely under water... At least from my experience using it the last 6 weeks.
From there you can play with how far forward or back you want it mounted. I'm 6'2 210lbs and and have found the device is worth having, just need to weight the boat adequately on your port side.
