Same response as other thread but that isn't likely nearly enough weight. I run all factory ballast full (900 LBS) two 260 lbs bags under the front seats (540 lbs) and 750 lbs bags in each rear locker. So 2600ish lbs of H2O.

I then install like below. We tried lower, further back blah blah and this was the best spot for push and for ease of installation.

JP... Okay re: Weight. I need some fatter friends, LOL!! I installed my 180° from your setup (tab to rear) and two "bands" lower on the sidewall - so the level that has the "cut" to form a "normal wake". I'm wondering if I don't have enough weight and install the tab like you have in your setup whether it will only "skim the surface". When you install your MD, is it underwater when the boat is stationary?

I wrote this in your other thread, but what works for me is finding placement WITHOUT weighting your boat yet. Stick that sucker on with no weight in the boat, and what works for me so far has been placing the delta so that 3/4ths of it is under water, and the other 1/4 of it is above the water line. Once you have placement, leave it there regardless of how much weight, and see how that works for you.

I run 750lb bags in my rear lockers, and another 400 lb bag up front, so just shy of 2k pounds and my wave has plenty of push and it extended the pocket a good 5-6 feet from when I'd list it.

If you have a center tab, play with that also. Center tab down with increase length, center tab up will increase height/push. Play with that to find your happy medium. I like mine right in the middle.

Thanks Mike... No center tab on my boat... I'll see what I can get out of it...

Well for my youngest daughter I didn't fill the 750s and it still worked pretty well (i.e. was underwater and displacing well). But the wave was noticeably smaller. I'm a solid 195 bone dry and I would have been able to ride it but I'd be wanting more.

Here are picks of all the bags full and location as above:

Looks awesome JP! I am only running 1500 lbs ballast and can't quite mount mine that high without the spray filling my starboard locker with a ton of water.

That was a 360 that really was a 180 to faceplant.

I've made two for my X15. I'll try to get some pics of test runs this weekend.
