Just ordered the Nauticurl for our '04 X10. The boat is new to me, but we plan to surf behind it all summer. Very interested to see how it works in our central WI lakes. Many of them don't average much more than 10' in depth.

Thanks WakeSurf22 for offering a discount to TT members.

Sounded like our factory graphics gave the suction cups some problems? I ran through all the previous pages a few weeks back. I'm in the market but want to ensure it'll work before pulling the trigger.

5" X 13" flat spot free of raised decals...I don't think we have it on our X2

That sucks! If they made one that fit it would already be on order.

I ordered the Nauticurl for 08 X2, haven't used in the water yet, but don't think I'll be able to mount low enough for it to work. Very good quality product though. I'll report back in two weeks when I can actually use it.

I have a 2009 X2 and the only place I can see possible would put it about even with the waterline. Looking forward to your test!

                    Hi WakeSurf22. Two questions...

Any feedback on using this with an NXT 22?

Any chance you can offer another discount code for folks on this thread?

                    Thanks

                    -Brian

Why not just use the surf system that came on the boat?

I am adding an edit here because I was able to get the NXT 22 to throw a great wave (I had posted earlier that I could not find good push). 65-0-0 (goofy) with factory ballast at 10 works great for me and 10.6 is good too. I'll add 750 lb fat sac in the back on the seat if we want to go big and are going to be surfing for awhile, but if we are going for a quick set and dont' want to deal with a bag, then factory ballast (tanks and bags) at 65-0-0 is great. I'm 215 lbs and ride a hyperlite time machine.

                        THANKS ARIC!!!

                          0-0-65

750 on the floor in the cockpit. Blows me away that people have a hard time surfing these. One of my favorite boats.

Thanks for the reply! That looks a lot (A LOT) better than the wave my boat is throwing.

Any thoughts on a setup for a goofy rider? Just run 65-0-0 instead of 0-0-65?

Don't remember the exact settings but it was great too.

Thanks for the photos Aric. Looks good.

Next time you are out surfing goofy, if you think of it, make a note of the setup and share (or if anyone else on this thread knows a good goofy setup for an NXT 22). I'd love to get this thing dialed with just the factory tabs and not need to add a shaper or lead or anything.
