That might be a little heavy, is that weight with or without bindings? I have a newer ho a2. I think the blank weighs something like 4-5 lbs, it's feather light! With a front boot and rear toe plate, I would guess close to ten pounds.

Did you buy those to ski on or for a wall decoration?

hahaha ya , love putting junk on my walls ,I'm gonna ski the crap out of these things .

you need cheap skis around for your friends to learn on and when one of them always seems to just blindly chuck your ski's on the beach it doesn't make you want to kill them ,lol
even though i still do want to kill them , no comp skiing for us . these skis will do just fine for a day on the lake , its not all about the bling for me ,hahaha ,look at my boat nothing fancy there either , it must almost be considered a lawn ornament or an ancient artifact .
well at least it was built to last , haha

I was only giving you a hard time, it's just I have not seen an HO like that since the early 90s, and well the technology has come a long way =)

Cool thanks good to know reason I'm actually asking is I had an old ski sink last year. So we think And we never ever found it. I posted on here last year and most said skis usually don't sink. But anyways once I get to the lake I will check and see how she floats lol

Pretty sure our old double boot ho sank. We searched the lake for 3 hrs. My bro was upset he loved his old ski. I'm sure this ski is fine. Thanks.

That VTR rocks! I got my old one hanging in the garage. See how much more narrow the VTR is midway on the ski to the tail compared to the TRX? The TRX will do better teaching newbs the deep water start and that VTR is a solid intermediate to advanced ski for the folks that want to rip.
                    Great deal on both!

Are you sure you didn't confuse the ski with your anchor?
