This forum is absolutely amazing! I had been looking for a wetsander/detailer and got some info from mrm2083 (giant thank you) - contacted him and decided to do a full wetsand and ceramic coat. A year and a half ago we bought our 2010 X35, always thought that the boat was in good shape and i do my absolute best to clean/polish/detail frequently because its something that i truly enjoy. I had decided to take off the bullseye decal and was never able to get rid of the ghosting and a few imperfections in the slate gray gel. The boat has always looked fantastic from 10 feet away, but when you get close and in the right light, boom - you see some of the blemishes. Having that mcocd is a problem, i LOVE LOVE LOVE our boat but always had this nagging thing in my head knowing that the ghosting was there and that there were a few imperfections that i thought id never get out. Until now
Here's a few pics....will post some proper ones when i get it back. New mastercraft decals (Marble Gray) and fl numbers coming from domednumbers and a 30% tint on the glass. No graphics, just simple and clean.
Its in order of before & after
