Are you sure you want to go with black? For some reason Seadek advised me to not use black as the base color. I ended up going with the grey for the base color and black in the lettering.

That looks pretty sharp. You could go with a Stars & Stripes look.

I have the same boat, and used the pattern kit to create mine with Seadek. I was very happy with the final result, and if you take a few minutes to watch their installation video, it'll go on perfect. I had a lot of small dings to fix first.
Here's mine, looks pretty close to yours!

For what it is worth, I went with black from Seadek anyhow, regardless of their warnings. It looks awesome, and I keep my boat inside storage when not in use and cover the deck with a towel on the boat when say, it is out in front of my house pre/post boating for a day to protect it from UV damage. Seadek's main concern with black is down in Florida or Texas where the sun can beat down on the material with regular high temps over a period of several months without cover. I like your design.

Wanted to give an update on my swim platform restoration. My SeaDek order came in and I spent good amount of time cleaning platform in preparation for new attachment. Removed original MC pad, (frayed, cut and showing terrible ware), with lacquer thinner to remove glue. Finished with acetone to remove all residue.

I also order additional SeaDek pieces for trailer steps since you can not seem to find replacement pieces along with some small transom step pads.

Dude, nice work on using the old star. I love it. Not going to lie, I have been debating my seadeck design for the last 3 months and this exact idea has been at the top of my list forever. I have only seen this star on the center cap o my steering wheel.

Anyone know if this star was used anywhere else?

Also, it appears your pad has a stipple to it. Like a basketball would. True or not?
