2010-2011 Steering Wheel

There are Mastercraft 2010 steering wheels for sale on ebay for 55 bucks compared to Mastercrafts price of over 300. I'm thinking of buying one (they have a bunch available).

For those of you with 2010 or 2011 models, do you like the steering wheel? Is it plastic or aluminum?

Does anyone know if the MC needs a spline... I think I remember it being the spline version

Im pretty sure I remember it being spline. Do you guys know if the spokes are aluminum or plastic?

I thought it was painted aluminium...

I just got the insert the other day and can't wait to get the wheel now.

The spokes are aluminum, the OEM MC center is solid aluminum. However, the center cap directly from Syntec is plastic (seller on ebay).

To me this steering wheel is iconic. I know I have MC googles and one of the worst cases of MCOCD that's documented, but this steering wheel makes me want to clean something or at the least wax...

The best I can do is give the part number for the center cap...102306.

I called around and shopped prices and the best I could do was $106 plus shipping.

There isn't a surplus deal out there on this part, not to my knowledge.
