Hard water spot removal on 2016 X23?
Any suggestions how to remove hard water spots from the dark black and red colors on the fiberglass?
I have tried all the basic suggestions from reading various posts online with very little success.
Lime Away, Lime Off, Vinegar and water, Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Baking soda solution, Spray Nine, Simple Green, and finally a good boat wax applied by hand.
I would like to try a power orbital hand polisher/buffer but nervous about getting swirl marks if I use the wrong products or machine.
Does anyone have any tips on what type of buffer to use and also suggested products?

They will easily buff out. Gel coat is much harder than clear coat paint so swirls are harder to make. I prefer the Menzerma and 3M products but there are lots of options.

Boat Candy Speed Gloss work well for us. Our boat is black and we just spray and wipe down after every time out.

Yes, wipe it down with spray wax after each use but I still had to buff mine out at the end of each year.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Our boat stays on the water all summer so difficult to wipe down daily. I will give the buffer a try at the end of the year with some Meguiar's or 3M products. What attachment wheel are you folks using on the buffer? Wool or foam?

I use a clay bar with soapy water. Takes less than an hour to do the whole boat and it's prepped for final polish.

Like a champ, for really stubborn all week on lake Powell hard spots I used Totally Awesome and the clay bar then polished it up.

They seem impossible until you find the right product, then they come off with zero effort. Have you tried Boat Bling Hot Sauce Water Spot Removal?

I tired boat bling products in general for the first time this weekend and was really impressed. They are expensive but they work well.

I can't say enough good things about this product and the Boat Bling family of products. I tried so many things over the years, and this stuff just works extremely well. Full stop!
