The past few days were spent wiring and cleaning up everything. Spent 4 hours on three holes to make the just right in the fiberglass. Today I should have everything hooked up mounted and start tuning it and break it all in. Three of the 4 amps are wired. The sub amp will be mounted to the box right and will only have about a foot or two of wire.

Finished up today. Everyone is mounted wired tested and ready for tuning tomorrow after work. The JL 7.7 component speakers sound amazing. Then the tower speakers get turned up and it's a whole different game then . I was way to tired to pull it out and it was getting dark to get any pictures of the tower up. Just need to install the drivers seat and clean the rest of the trash out and it'll be back in the water tomorrow... Weather permitting. Battery setup is temporary. Getting two more to hold me over this year then doing a complete HD alternator and other things.

That is going to be one banging system. Post sound clips if possible. I am very interested.

SD6 turned up 60 percent is loud. More tuning once I get the boat away from the office today. I was told it's so loud that people thought the windows were open. I'm probably going to put it back in Geist lake today.

Everything's back together and working. That pesky 11.5 alarm is finally gone now that I have the whole stereo setup not connected to the boat. I just put the boat in at the river to finish tuning the speakers. Videos will he up shortly.

Also as you can see the sub is in also just decided to grab another battery on the way to the river. The last thing to do was remove the stickers on the tower speakers. Now I just need to clean the outside up.

One of My friends had them for his install and got batteries without post in a crunch and couldn't use them. I can find out if you want.

That's a very nice boat with a very nice stereo. You must be very wealthy, especially mentioning Geist!!

Ok seriously though, we were out testing the sound on the water and my God is it loud. What was weird though is I got on the dock to get some videos of the boat driving away and it kind of sounded like some of the frequencies were being missed. I'm assuming this is just the sound of the engine and waves canceling them out? It sounds amazing in the boat. Here are the videos I got which is pretty much exactly what I was hearing in real time...

I've gotten really good on the installing of speakers, amps, etc but tuning is still a bit new to me. What's the best way to get these dialed in perfectly? Especially the JL cockpit speakers since the amp is rated at 185w rms per channel and the speakers are 100w rms. we want these to last
