  • Clarion MW1 Custom mount...install

I received my custom mount for the MW1 today.

-First let me say the finish is top notch and looks like a OEM part for the boat.I think it was well worth the money.
-Some folks were wanting to know if the throttle would hit the mount. No it does not hit,but is close. You can see in my pics. If you use your finger tips for throttle control(like me) you wont have a problem.
-If your on the fence about this mount. I say do it. Price was around 115.00 and shipped from Austraila took right at 10 days to get here.
Dale is the guy that makes this and is easy to deal with. His contact info is in the other MW1 thread.

I could not use the U bracket that came with the MW1 because of the spaceing of the custom mount. So I just used the old one off my old remote.Worked perfectly.

    Heres some pics.

Sorry, we are on different pages. I thought Corey had his own version of the mount; I did not realize that you were referring to the panel attachments. Looks like the Aussie version is the way to go...

That looks great TOO-TALL! Looks like a very well machined piece. Tristarboarder... I will probably be coming up with my own once I get my new boat home. I still have about another month before it will be at my house and then there may be a lot of parts being made.

That looks great Too-Tall! I think that is the way to go. Like you, I was a little concerned about the throttle clearance, but I tend to use a finger or two so I think it will be fine. The boat comes home this week, so I'm going to double check once I slide into the seat. Plan on ordering this week. Thanks for the detailed posts!
