  • 2017 NXT22 Stereo Dual Volume Control

Just got a 2017 MC NXT22 the with the factory upgraded stereo system that included tower speakers.
The stereo shows volume control for two zones by depressing the main volume control knob. On my boat only control zone one works and controls all speakers in boat and tower. My dealer says that is the way the NXT22 is wired. I do not believe that is correct.
Does anyone else have the ability to control the tower speakers volume in one zone and the boat speakers in the other zone? Or, how does the zone control work for anyone else?
    Thanks

What head unit? did the entire system come OEM or was the tower speakers dealer installed?

The head unit is fusion 5
I bought the boat new and chose the options and packages with the dealer. I'm assuming the tower speakers were installed during factory manufacturing but not positive.

2016 x23. My rear transom remote is tower speaker only.

I believe your dealer is correct. The head unit in the NXTs differ from the X series in which there are 2 zones.

Adding the JL RLC will let you control tower speakers separately. It's a $35 fix and less than a hours work. Try this thread...http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...t=80286&page=2

Which JL RLC did you use? Finally someone who figured out how to do it. Would be nice if Mastercraft made it an option for the dealer to add
